Who Is a Good Candidate for Microneedling?

Microneedling is a powerful option for treating:

  • Acne Scarring – Breaks down scar tissue and stimulates new collagen for smoother skin over time (3–6 treatments may be recommended).

  • Uneven Texture & Large Pores – Improves skin tone, tightness, and smoothness by building deeper collagen support.

  • Sun Damage, Melasma & Pigmentation – Helps disperse excess pigment, rebalance melanin production, and reveal healthier skin layers.

  • Fine Lines & Aging Skin – Softens wrinkles and improves elasticity with cumulative collagen stimulation.

  • Preventative Care – Great for clients in their 30s–40s seeking to age well, not just fix problems.

How Microneedling Works

A sterile cartridge with 16 fine needles creates micro-channels in the skin’s surface, stimulating your body’s natural healing process.

  • These micro-injuries promote new collagen and elastin formation, the proteins responsible for firm, youthful skin.

  • Each session supports long-term skin renewal by improving your skin’s structure at the cellular level.

This technique is also known as collagen induction therapy and is widely trusted as a non-laser alternative with minimal downtime.

Benefits of Microneedling

  • Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and pigmentation

  • Stimulates natural collagen for smoother, firmer skin

  • Improves tone and texture with minimal downtime

  • Safe for most skin types and tones

  • Typically performed in a series of 3–6 monthly treatments

Better Together: Microneedling + Chemical Peels

Medical microneedling is one of the most effective treatments for skin transformation available today. But there is one combination that consistently takes results to the next level: microneedling paired with a professional chemical peel.

Here's why the combination works: microneedling and chemical peels work through different mechanisms on different layers of the skin. A chemical peel works at the surface, accelerating cell turnover and clearing damaged or dead skin cells. Microneedling works deeper, stimulating collagen production and remodeling the skin's structure from within.

“The peel clears and brightens the canvas. The microneedling rebuilds and strengthens it from within.”

Used in a planned protocol, this combination addresses both surface appearance and deeper skin health simultaneously, delivering the kind of cumulative, compounding results that build over weeks and months. For clients with acne scarring, pigmentation, uneven texture, or early aging, this dual-treatment approach is often more effective than either treatment alone.

Microneedling Pre-Treatment Instructions

Post Treatment Care

After microneedling your skin will be red and flushed like if you had a moderate sunburn. Redness should be greatly reduced within 24-48 hours. You may experience swelling, burning, itching, bruising, soreness, skin tightness, flakiness, sensitivity, and dryness. It may take up to 5-7 days for the skin to heal depending on the extensiveness of your treatment. Make sure to wash your face with only cool water and mild cleanser provided and pat dry skin. A Mineral based sunscreen of SPF 30+ should be applied and reapplied every 60-90 minutes while outdoors. Please wear a wide brimmed hat for additional protection.

Immediately After Treatment Cleanse with a mild, gentle cleanser daily. Gently pat dry – do not rub. If your skin feels dry or tight, apply a gentle moisturizer. Avoid activities that will heat up your skin, such as going in a hot tub/Jacuzzi/sauna, taking a very hot shower, or strenuous exercise for 2 days after treatment.
